Chocolate Banana Blueberry Smoothie Bowl (V/GF)

It's cold, thick and creamy texture and yummy flavors will make you think you're eating ice cream but, unlike eating ice cream, you'll feel light on your feet and energized after eating a bowl of this!

Ingredients

  • 3 tightly packed cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use the brand Vega)
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Optional Toppings: Granola, Coconut, Blueberries, Peanut Butter, Flaxseeds

Instructions

  1. Run frozen bananas under hot water for 30 seconds and then remove bananas from peels and transfer to a high speed blender or food processor. Add the spinach and the water and blend/process until broken down. Then, add the remaining ingredients and blend/process until smooth.

  2. Top with optional toppings and enjoy!
