Three words…

HOMEMADE. DARK. CHOCOLATE.

Unlike most chocolates, it’s completely vegan and free of any cane sugar! Yay! In fact, it only takes 3 ingredients to make it! Did I mention that it’s a breeze to make? SO EASY! You could be just 30 minutes away from snacking on a rich, fudgy chocolate that tastes better than any store-bought bar. It melts in your mouth and definitely leaves you wanting for more!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1 cup raw cacao butter , melted
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Melt the cacao butter double boiler method on the stove with the lowest heat setting. *see notes

  2. Add the cacao powder and syrup and mix until smooth.

  3. Place liquid mixture into a chocolate mold or a small pan lined with parchment paper.

  4. Place into the freezer for minimum 1/2 hour.

  5. Take out of the freezer and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  • The double broiler method is much easier than it sounds! Simply bring a pot of water to a boil, reduce heat and place a heat proof mixing bowl on top of the pot of boiling water. The bottom of the mixing bowl should not touch the water. You’ll be able to add the ingredients to the mixing bowl and melt them slowly without burning.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
